Research a case in which the defendant used the defense of entrapment, you will present the case to the class. Do not tell the class the verdict in the case.

All of you will vote on whether or not the defendant should have been acquitted or convicted based on the entrapment defense.

Your points will be based on upon your research and your participation in class!

This will be done in class April 12th, everyone will have to present to get points.

2.) Private police outnumber public by a factor of three to one. Is this beneficial or harmful?

2.) Can the police and the community ever form a partnership to fight crime?? Why or why not?? Does the community policing model remind you of early forms of policing?? Explain.

3.) What are the relationships among community policing, problem-oriented policing, and intelligence-let policing? Are they similar or fundamentally different?
